MEET THE STAFF
Jerod Keyser, is the General Manager for Fortress Business Systems and has more than 10 years of experience in helping small, medium and C level clients standardize their business processes, increase staff productivity, strengthen security measures, and lower their operating costs.
For most of his career, he has served in senior sales leadership and advisory roles. His expertise includes sales strategy development, sales management, sales operations and marketing. Jerod’s experience spans a variety of B2B industries, such as information technology, software, hardware, managed prints services, network management and security.
Jerod is 5th generation in North Idaho, he loves fly-fishing and the great outdoors, and he is grateful to be able to live in such a remarkable place. Jerod helped started Fortress Business Systems because he believed that customer service in the industry was dying and that relationships were becoming impersonal and he feels that local N. Idaho and E. Washington businesses deserve more than just being a client Number.
Amber Keyser is the owner and Managing Member of Fortress Business Systems, and handles all the Administrative office and management duties.
Married to her high school sweetheart Jerod, they have three beautiful daughters. Together, they enjoy the outdoors camping and fishing along with spending lots of great family time at their cabin in Priest River ID.
With extensive experience in the industry, including everyday functions of QuickBooks Pro, and Microsoft Office, Amber shows off her exceptional organizational and time management skills. Amber is also well versed and experienced in many aspects of Payroll, employee management, budgeting, cash flow analysis, tax reporting, auditing, quality control, bank reconciliation, and fiscal fiduciary responsibility and liability. She has tremendous experience dealing with customers, potential customers, employees, and financial institutions. These experiences have taught Amber how to be professional, courteous, politically correct and personable.
Managed IT ServicesTyler joined the Navy right out of high school and worked in submarine communications for four years (about three years too long). After finishing active duty he moved on to Seattle to pursue his dreams of learning about technology and wrangling cats. After seven years (and some hearing loss from too many concerts) he moved to Sandpoint Idaho to finish his education. After graduation he became a network administrator/help desk/security consultant/ditch digger/wire puller/terminator/construction worker/manager/housekeeper at Silverwood Theme Park. After four and a half years of great experience and sheer exhaustion he has moved on to Fortress as the Director of Network Services.
Todd Trengove has been in the electronics sales and service business for 30 years. Technology always made sense to him, and finds it easy to explain to customers. Todd grew up an avid basketball player and then enjoyed motocross racing throug most of his adult life.
Todd has been married for 21 years to Kris and now spends any time off with his children, Kali 20 a junior at ISU, and Tyler 17 a junior at Post Falls High.
Production Print/ Software Specialist
Have worked in the copier industry since 2007. Before that worked in IT for Kenworth Sales. My passion and specialty is in workflow automation using software to eliminate data entry errors and streamline business processes. I have also love working with the Mutoh products and creating lasting relationships with signage, vehicle wrap, and promotional item companies.
I am the production printing and software integration specialist.
Service TechnicianEric is from Spokane Washington, attended college at Linn Benton Community College in Oregon where he also played baseball. He joined the copier industry in June of 2011 as a technician. He is trained on Konica Minolta, Sharp, Canon, Ricoh, HP, Xerox and Samsung brands. He is experienced in working and networking of office, personal, and print production equipment. Eric joined the Fortress team in June of 2016.
